About
Anatta Foundation was established in 2012 by the Stibbe family as a public-benefit corporation (PBC), focused on four core areas of activity: physical and mental health, education, academia, and arts and culture. The foundation strives to strengthen both Israeli and international communities, expand access to resources, and develop solutions tailored to local needs.
Anatta advances collaborations with public institutions, universities, civil society organizations, and community initiatives, and supports projects with long-term potential for impact in the fields of welfare, education, and culture.
"Anatta" is a Pali word meaning "non-self" or "the absence of a permanent self," one of the foundational concepts of Buddhist thought. Among its many interpretations, it can be understood as a guiding principle for an ethical life grounded in unconditional giving. The organization's logo is an eight-spoked wheel, referencing an ancient Buddhist symbol that represents the Dharma-the Buddhist path and teachings.

Ora Etrog Stibbe
Anatta Foundation Co-Founder
Ora Etrog Stibbe is a psychotherapist and certified supervisor in art therapy and psychodrama, with years of clinical experience specializing in the treatment of anxiety and depression. She is also a dedicated social entrepreneur who has long supported and volunteered in advancing social justice and human rights, particularly among underserved communities and in developing countries
Eytan Meir Stibbe
Anatta Foundation Founder
Eytan is a co-founder of the investment fund Vital Capital, whose mission is to improve the lives of underserved populations in developing countries, with a particular focus on Africa. A pioneer in the field of impact investing, Stibbe is a member of the World Economic Forum. In addition, he serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations dedicated to arts, culture, and education
Michal Sternschuss
Michal is an educator and specialist in special education, holding a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Special Education. (She brings extensive experience in differentiated instruction and reading intervention.) She specializes in social learning and facilitating group programs that develop social skills for children with ADHD.
Michal is one of the founders of the “Dror Prize” for equality and social justice, and has served on the Board of Directors of Anatta Foundation since its inception.
Vered Shub
Dr. Vered Shub is a veterinarian with international expertise in veterinary imaging, following several years of residency training in the United States. She previously served as a clinician and lecturer at the University Veterinary Hospital in Beit Dagan.
She also founded and established Israel's first private veterinary specialty center, the first of its kind, driven by the belief that animals are equally entitled to advanced, high-quality medical care (including the breakthrough use of a veterinary MRI device).
Ofir Bar Orian
Ofir brings extensive management experience from companies in the fields of communications, information systems, and financial services, including Bezeq Zahav, Credit Adjustments for Israel, and multinational corporations. He currently leads the Communications Division at I.E. Mittwoch & Sons.
Ofir served as an officer in infantry and intelligence units and volunteered in mentoring at-risk youth preparing for enlistment in the IDF. He holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and serves on Anatta’s Board of Directors, where he contributes his managerial and financial expertise to advancing the organization’s mission.

Yoav Stibbe
Yoav Stibbe is an entrepreneur in the entertainment and cultural sectors, and a partner and manager of an electronic orchestra based in London. As part of his work, he leads and promotes participation in municipal tenders and cultural initiatives, with the aim of creating exceptional experiences that uphold high standards of quality and innovation while remaining attuned to the local cultural context.

Amit Stibbe
Amit Stibbe is an entrepreneur, investor, and impact-driven business leader focused on advancing solutions in the fields of water, infrastructure, and sustainable development. Over the years, he has led large-scale ventures and projects in collaboration with governments, the World Bank, and international organizations, driven by a vision that combines social and environmental impact with business growth. Alongside his business activities, he is involved in civic and public initiatives focused on education, culture, media, and civil society.
Dr. Shir Stibbe
Dr. Shir Stibbe is a pediatrician and a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She completed her residency at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer.
Shir trained as a backup astronaut for Ax-1, the first private mission to the International Space Station, and was a member of the core leadership team of the Rakia Mission. Since then, she has continued to bridge the worlds of clinical medicine and innovation in the field of space medicine.
Alongside her medical work, she is involved in advancing mental health initiatives through the foundation, guided by a strong belief in the importance of integrating physical and mental well-being.
